I have the Deluxe factory lightbar with passing lamps and when they are on they are much brighter than the low-beam headlight..... looks stupid.

I want to put a brighter bulb in my headlight so all 3 lights look the same.

Anyone done this mod?

burms,  go to your local auto store and ask for a phillips crystal vision globe.  makes a real white light. its still only 60/55 watt but is heaps better.  pm me if you cant find any.

I've decided to pull the Aux lights off...... so In can just run the headlight on high beam during the day and be done with it. That should get me seen on the road.

Mate of mine has them on his rocker. They are fucking great. HID = High Intensity Discharge. Problem with them in the past on Harleys was the ballast was quite large and really no where to fit them but you can now get a slimline version of the ballast which is less than 1 cm thick, bout 10cm long and about 6 or 7 wide. Where I work is about to bring these in....I saw one the other day and ordered it. I'll let you know where you can get em once I know.
