Fuck! If you do that too often you won't have whitewalls for long, Use Jiff with a SPONGE in one direction. They go fluro white, abasive pads will lead to tears if you do it every week.

A capful of Handy Andy in half a bucket of warm water. Use a scrubbing brush. Should come up like new.

Brand New Whitewalls with blue coating and a lot of grime gathered over time in warehouse I suspect.
Tried it all ..... Jex, Handy Andy and Finish with a scrubbing brush, WD-40. All work with varying degrees of success, but none got them white enough for me.
Then I tried Jif on a damp cloth and BINGO !!!!!!!!! Perfect.

I use hand cleaner and a bit of elbow grease. Works a treat.

Ive found a great product at mitre 10, I think it was called majic white or something. Its a white sponge which you just slice a small piece from and then give your white walls a rub with it and some water. No chemicals or hard scrubbing. If I hadnt used it myself I wouldnt believe it could be that easy. I use it on all sorts of stuff now, it really is that good.

I just use thinners. Been doing it for 10 years. Never had an issue and the WW's come up beautifully.

I tried all that stuff with the new BF Goodrich tyres on my jeep to get that blue shit of the white lettering, hours of scrubbing and sweating.. then tried the Harley whitewall spray on and wipe off after 2 mins stuff.. genius, it works great. Did all 5 tyres in 15 mins.

had to clean my white walls this weekend as i got a new rear put on, which had the blue film protection on there and the front was pretty dirty too.

used jif and a cloth, rinsing as i went, and it was really easy done. have heard gumption will also do the trick nice and easy.
