It has to be said that they ARE loud but not the loudest. If you ride sensibly in built-up areas you probably won't piss off too many people. If you always accelerate hard then expect to get booked!!! I had a set of Big City Thunder baffles fitted, part no. QQ1845, which cost me US$170 landed via:

    http://www.bigcitythunder.com/pages/product-fit.html

They knock off about 10% of the harshness and outright volume but still are quite loud.

They really are the coolest looking (mainstream) pipes available!

    Go for it. You'll love'em!

As above. Yes they come with baffles installed. You can remove them, but I wouldn't.

As far as loud goes, they are loud, but not that loud. Once you hit Hwy speed and you are cruising, you will hardly hear them. Open it up though, and it is a different story, especially under load, like going up a hill - They will bark nicely.

I live down near the ACT and have never had a cop even look at me twice, and I have ridden past heaps of them.

    I love my Radius. :)

My local highway patrol "advised me" I should look at getting new pipes because my big radius are too loud. Let me off without a defect notice but said if he runs into me again he'll defect me right away. Gunna give the BCT's a go first.
