    Hey Scoozy,

I reckon not even a need for wet weather gear - tis goona be so hot & humid in between early morning drizzle / showers we will dry off.  Anyway, my recent check of the weather clearly indicates sunny arfternoon everywhere (even the Central Coast).    Nah, goona be a great ride day - like Big Kev says, "Im excited".

Thanks for organising this ride Pearcy.

Weather forecast was close to being spot on - no one who came on the ride got wet one little bit.

In fact I got bloody sun burnt at days end (short sleeve T - silly me).

Now Stephen - I would have thought you were smart enough to done the wet gear and ride to our meet point.

Easier to take it off when the sun hits than throw it on in rain.

Anyway, 10 bikes rode away from M4 Maccas a tad after 9am.

We rode the GWH then out to Hampden then down to the Jenolan Caves out the other side to Oberon.

Oberon we had lunch and caught up with Little Pearcy (Nice to catch up again mate )   After lunch most refuelled and we then we rode down to Lake Lyle (near Lithgow) where stopped for a break (bloody hot but).  Moved on to the outskirts of Lithgow where some refuelled.  Here we said goodbye to NickBits & Loraine who had to hit the frog and toe to home down the Great Western Highway.

The rest of us wound out way down the Bells Line of Road to Richmond where we had a brief stop, waved goodby and went out separate ways.

    Great Ride Day

PS:  My phone camera has thrown a wobbly.  Problems downloading.  I know others got a fair few pics.

Unfortunately I left the brochure at home, otherwise I could fill you in on all the details. You would have to ask Lorraine, I am sure she has all the contact details for Santa

Thanks from me too. Although I hadn't indicated I was coming on the ride, I knew just turn up and your going to have one fantastic day!!  And so it was. Beautiful clear skies, nice an warm, great riding country, great riding buddies and the sounds of Harleys cruising through the countryside - PERFECT.

Many thanks Pearcy for organising the run and adjusting to the democratic changes!!  I had the best and longest ride on the Sturgis for over seven years.  350kms and she ran beautifully all day.  I do have to run the spanners over her as a few bits have loosened up!!  That's the joy of owning an older machine. I was totally buggered after I arrived home. Had a couple of scotches, watched a bit of telly and off to bed - didn't wake up till 10.45am!!

Thanks again for an awesome day.
