Sydney/NSW riders

    Ok boys ...lets start putting some locations up as meeting points for riders to come together and just have a chat and get to know each other

    places that we could rock up midweek or even on a weekend

    this way people in the same sort of area could hook up and ride together to get there ...like us from the gong meet up and then ride up to sydney to catch up, the boys to the west of sydney meet up and ride to the location and so forth

    I am not a sydney bred person so have no idea as to good meeting points ... what places or ideas do you guys have?

    once I get my ride I'll be happy to do the odd midweek day ride, being a shift worker I only get one weekend free each month so weekends are tided up months in advance by SWMBO.

    Probably best if a place is picked that is central for everyone.

    The M4 servo's is a meeting place for groups heading west or sth west I've heard.

    the servo at crossroads when heading south just B4 the freeway & the Mobil at Berowra when heading north.

    you mean the servo near ingleburn/liverpool way?

    it's after you turn left at the crossroads hotel, after Liverpool, not sure of the actual suburb, but it's where the road to the Army base peels off to the right.

    yep, well meet there if heading south or southern highlands for day trips, or if I'm heading down Appin way, there's a shell servo south of Campbelltown on the Appin rd which is handy for a fuel stop.

    Sounds like the crossroads then, hope you blokes plan to ride further than Picton Pub.

    well boys ... who wants to suggest a destination???

    I would prefer west or north for a ride, given that I am from down south :)

    what days are best ..sat or sundays?

    Sundays are the best for me. Sat is sports day with the kids.

     

    A nice run would be.

     

    Meet the guy's from the Sth in the City,

    Then head out to Winsor , then up to Wisemans ferry for lunch.

    Then onto peats ridge and down the Old Hwy back into Sydney.

    how about we start with that for the first ride???

    now for a date to ride on ..due to kids, the best dates for me for July are 6th and 27th .. both sundays :)

    for anyone up for a sat ride then it is the 5th, 12th and 26th

    Anytime after the middle of August would be fine for me, CAUSE i DON'T HAVE A FREAKIN BIKE YET, whimper... cry... I still need a cuddle....bwhahahahaha

    First post here!!!
    I'd be keen for a ride pretty much whenever. (am in NZ in mid Aug tho')
    FYI - re meeting points - for eastern subs/sourthern subs etc I used to organise for meet as "the loop" La Perouse which is at the very end of Anzac Parade. It's a top mtg spot.
