My preference would be the 48 but you should go for whatever jumps out at you.

if you cant spell it means you really want a Softail, you will trade into one a year after you buy the Sporty so why not go all in,

don't believe the Dyna crew, they were led astray once and try to get as many others they can.

Dyna's...not a fan...bit on the jittery side....softails are great if your an old bastard..(which I am)...sporty customs are the go...with a decent saddle...kinda like the one I'm currently selling oddly enough.

I like the nightsters - they are a bit more kick ass imo - and no, I don't own one.

That blue Sporty 1200C looks exactly like mine, well very similar. I would buy another one of them  but mine is 2005 & has a carby. I would go for any 1200C but at least 1 year later with fuel injection. They have heaps of go, how fast do you wanna go in a country with 110kph limits. Out on the Nullarbour 180 to 190 kph was fast enough too. Even with a screen I could not sit on that sort of speed for long anyhow.

Why wait till next year to go get your first harley,

As I am over 6ft I found 883 Custom but it was too small for me. I found the softail to be more comfortable

Get ready to have some fun when you get it.

Congrats on the 48, what does it handle like with the big front tyre.  My first Harley experince was on a 97 883 sportster and I loved it.
