i have recently brought new hand grips, and had no problems with the left grip, but the right grip has not gone on the whole way. Now i cant make it go any further on, nor can i get it off.  i didnt use any grip glue and the grips are chrome with rubber inserts, if that helps. Any tips or tricks would be much appreciated

Generally speaking the right grip being the throttle grip goes on piece of piss...the left grip some times needs abit of persuasion...have you got the grips around the right way? to remove the non conforming grip..some use a shot of compressed air into the grip,ive never tried that but use brute force if nothings playing the game after trying various methods..good luck.

thanks lads for your help. i do have the grips around the right way, as they both had different diameters on the inside and the left went on peace of piss and fits snug. The right started fine but is about 5-10mm from home. The grip has enough length internally,but the little F..... wont budge.W-D 40 or compressed air doesnt seem to help. As the main insert of the grip is some sort of rubber, would heating it in some way assist and a good whack, is there any risk of damage to anything?

yeah I'd go with the hot water and a big bit of force
