Was in at Peter Stevens in Adelaide today and they have just taken deliver of a custom Fat Boy Lo..... cannot fuind the paint job for the Lo on the net but here is the same paint job on the Street Bob. It is a limited release of around 500 worldwide with each tank numbered. The pic does not do it justice.
I am really drawn to the scheme... but carries at heafty price tage at $3,500 or thereabouts
What's a custom paint job worth these days?
iknow it's off the subject ,BUT, what about the sign above the bike ,how many more government regulations can we handle ??????dickwits!!!!
$3500 for that paint? I think I'd rather spend it on engine work
But thats just me...
I stand corrected on numbers... 200 worldwide.
In response to another question, custom paint jobs vary due to complexity of design... simple paint jobs = easy bucks complex air brushing can cost the same are the HD special and sometimes more.
By the way guys.... @ $3,500 be are being arse raped!!!!!! Took this from the US site
Soar like the phoenix. Rubbed steel on the tank and fenders tells the world about the strength that lies beneath the wetlook clear coat finish. A midnight-black body combines with the shimmer of shiny scalloped metal to give this bike a mystique as powerful as a cloud of smoke disappearing into the night. Limited in quantity and availability (only 200 sets total), these show-quality paint sets are hand numbered to provide you with the ultimate in exclusivity. Available as complete set including factory-fresh sheet metal, or as a "paint only" program, painted on your undamaged sheet metal - see your Dealer for details.
This product is available in multiple variations. Be sure to look for the one that fits the specific model and year of your motorcycle.
