Turbo V-Rod finally finished

A  Finnish designer made the design, he also was on the design team for the KTM car called the X-Bow.  I made the Ohlins fork R&T package as well as the shocks.  THe forks were taken apart, polished & anodized, the triple trees, fork clamps, and caliper mounts were powder coated black.  It was just finished.  Hope you like it.

My own styling tastes lead to 'old school/retro' but I do admire the workmanship and effort that's gone into this one.

Reminds me of a big cat about to pounce! Very snarly, well done.

I am sorry but I really do not care about looks of the bike.  I suggested to the owner to cut the neck and put the rake at 26*, with the offset of my triple trees it would put the trail at 4".  The neck would be supported for lateral neck deflection going into corners with that frame making a much more stable platform.  There are height adjusters on the shocks as well as the forks can go down more than 1 1/2" easily.  This would raise up the bike and provide much needed ground clearance to utilize the horsepower from the turbo.  The suspension is really great but without ground clearance what can you do with HP?  That is just my opinion and not my bike.

I kind of prefer performance to looks.  I guess it is all what is important to you, or do not care what your friends think.  Just keep on riding and hope someone tries to keep up.

To put an inferior suspension on your bike like air just to impress your friends as you pose in front of the crowd?  Not for me, I perfer riding.

Watch the wheel spinners spin and the bike go up and down in front of the bar or put the wind in your hair?  I guess it is a matter of what you like to do.

    &    or

Both have spinning wheels and both are moving up and down, they are both the same but very much different tastes!

I like moving foreward.  It is all what you like to do in life and either one is good as long as it has to do with motorcycles.

That looks awesome. Was this just a one off build or are they planning to sell the fibreglass bodies later on?

No, not for money I just posted to show what can be done by thinking outside the box.  This is for your enjoyment only.  Real suspension on a HD.
