Hey Darkman,

I believe one or two are camping out in the back area of the the hotel yard.

However, lets see as we move toward the date - someone might cancel and I think we may have a few double bookings.

All will be sorted and revealed shortly when everyone checks up on who is who when rooms were booked.

 

I will talk with them tomorrow about the booking and get back to you - I think there is 4 of us in one room and 2 in the other already

BODALLA ARMS HOTEL - FRIDAY NITE

Houston - We May Have A Problem

 The John Dory is that today (4pm) I spoke with Doug at the Bodalla Arms.  I was talking to him about booking a few beds for the (Friday) night before our Saturday Loaded Dog venture.  Doug tells me that some fella by the surname of Walker booked the whole 18 beds for the Friday night.  Doug believes they are riders also.  Anyway, Doug says this Wakler fella is supposed to ring back in a weeks time to confirm the booking.  Doug told me to ring him back in a week or two - Doug took my contact details anyway.

So, we need to see what pans out for the Bodalla Arms booking.  Otherwise we will look else where. 

As a back up; what is the Nelligen Pub like for an overnite stay? 

what are we to believe.... I spoke to Doug Friday evening and he said he has a few beds left for Friday 18th Feb.... so I booked one

I just phoned Doug - he told me he is booked out for the Friday night also, he said that the booking has to be confirmed though.
Sam the owner of the Nelligen Pub is Great - it will close early if no drinkers - 12pm Max - $75 a night for a double room ( one single bed) a bit more for a double bed and a bunk bed. There is 5 rooms available now. 0244781066
I get home around 10pm Friday night so I unless it changes I can't help out this time

 BUMMER!!!!........just found out that me bests mate & wifes combined "90th" birthday party (50 + 40) is on the 19th Feb down south.

Gonna have to miss this run, pity, I was really lookin foward to it! Ah well, next time.

Sorry Burra, can you take me off the list mate. (I didnt have a room booked, was gonna swag it)

Maybe the Friday runners could stop overnight at  Braidwood...you may have to look at the meet point time at Eagle Hawk as it's a bit closer than Bodalla...

Yep there are 7 or 8 of us from Ulladulla and its, Sat morning approx 9 am Steampacket for a 9.30 depature.
Thats our plan.

What about the Monarch Pub at Moruya - they have a lock up Shed for the bikes, $35 a room if there is a few bookings - there is another few options = 4 rooms that will accommodate 10 people for around the same price - doubles and singles to make up the 10.

Looks like Burtman might be bringing a couple more mates on the Friday South Coast Run.

Seems like Saturday will have a nice rumble sound leaving Nelligen and heading over the mountain to EagleHawk

 

 

Have you worked out were your staying on the Friday night Burra??

 

Just rang the Nelligen Pub spoke to a shelia there.

Was to fuggen noisey for her to sort out our booking.

Bloody noisey South Coast Boyz on the turps, clinking glasses, a fight happening at the bar, piano playing in the background, couple banjos strummin on the balcony, horse and buggy clip clopping along the main drag, gallahs sqwarking overhead, chain  saw chattering out the back - I gotta ring the sheila back tomorrow and fine tune the booking. 

But we are ok cause they have beds for us (Pearcy, Burtman, Darkman, Uncle Ho, Mcgregor, me plus 2 others who may be coming along).

 

 

I remember this pub, they're a different mob down there.

"Good Ol Boys" is the way to describe them - slightly out of control

I left the Loaded Dog at around 9pm - still good beer and cold Rum Tins - Heaps of workers etc having a beer there tonight
