I know ubdead started a thread with specific dates for a midweek ride before xmas but I thought I'd put it out there for rides between xmas and say the 3rd or 10th of Jan.

I know some still have to work through the holidays or go away with family and friends however with around 3 weeks off (not by choice) and with bugger all to do and inlaws to escape from I'd be keen to do some day trips.
