I was also told if you are caught riding out of class (now riding without a licence) then this can also come under the Hoon Law's ( confiscation of motor vehicle) in WA.
That was the sole reason i made sure i had open class before getting me harley.

I have been told that in S.A you get a on the spot fine but it doesn't come cheap. (Something around $340).
As far as insurance, They will not cover the R-Date rider if found to be riding over 650cc. (power to weight )
