okay  now for some real technical stuff, what is the best polish to use?????

after reading numerous american sites they seem to rave about a polish calleed glare and another called zaino.

what is the best process to keep new paint looking new, shouls  i just wax on waxb off or polish first then wax or just keep using the spray on harley glaze,

what is the best to use..........

most  H  D products are verry good but i beleve there H D chrome polish is second to none yoused other chrome polish big mistake slightly left marks in chrome  i also like mr sheen  which is the cheepest and you can polish nearley every thing with it exept the seat as it makes it verry slippery

I've been using " Meguiar's Gold Class clear coat liquid car wax " for a few years now and can't fault the results.

Meguiar's also make a few detailing products that are great for the in between jobs and finals for cleans after a run.

i have been a meguiars junkie for many years now, and have bought all most everything, have not tried the clay detailer yet though.
always have used the gold class shampoo and even their glass cleaner and leather treatment, i guess what i am getting at is , is there a next level, american harley sights have been talking recently callede glare that is supposed to make the paint really pop,
i suppose we are always looking for more........ more of everything really,
thanks for suggestions and keep em coming

hey dcigar, Try a clay bar detailer pack, it will remove any of the grit and dirt you dont see, i swear by it, once this is done, it is like you just had your bike re-painted, the shine is unbelievable! and will last!

here is a link on ebay for more info http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mothers-California-Gold-07240-Clay-Bar-System-/120645907363?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c170e73a3

I use wolfgang polish and the paint sealant with the fusion wax over the top.  for the shiny metal bits i use purple polish and p21 metal soap for the chrome.

Empty 2 Black Bottles of REPO Polish and Cleaner, mixed together with a full can of BRASSO in a larger container / bottle with a screw lid of coarse.

Add 50mls water to 1 of the 3 bottles shake welllllllll, transfer to the next one, shake and repeat on the last one.

Empty all contents in to the larger container / bottle, shake well.

    Wash Paintwork.

    DRY.

Shake the bottle well every time you use some.

Using a new peice of MUTTON CLOTH apply in a circular motion (cloth to be preferably pre-washed before use)

Use another peice for the removal of polish.

    Wash Bike and Dry.

Excellent for use straight on Chrome.

some good sites here for swissvax is       www.carcareproducts.com.au   and www.waxit.com.au          , i've used swissvax and it is good i also found that wolfgang fusion estate had the same finish with the same high canuba percentage but alot better priced.
