Ok fellas I found the perfect shape ape for me and bought it.

The ape is 1 1/4", but I fucked up because it doesnt reduce to 1' at the risers. It is 1 1/4" all the way through, so I'm guessing i cant use mys tock risers.

Can anyone give me some options from here. I'd really like to stay with this handlebar if I can. Cheers

I would say go for new risers to fit bars.

Yeah I'm pretty much fucked there Clarkie, because the street bob has the risers built into the tree. I was hoping I could get away with it without changing the triple trees somehow.

I'm pretty sure that I have to go with a different bar. Spewing cause this one was exactly what I was after.

 

Are you sure about the risers being "built into the top tree"??? Cause if their not there are heaps of after market risers that are made for 1 1/4" bars.

Depends how much you like bars. Swap out the top tree or grind out the clamps.

get an earlier 49mm mid glide top triple tree or fit fat bob or wide glide triple trees . these are two ways i have gone to get rid of the crappy intergrated riser set up.

Looks like the bars are going, just noticed they are for FBW set up. Big fuck up by me all round. Should pay more attention.

One good thing, spoke to the guys I bought it from and they said return for a refund.
