Hi   was looking at  turning the white Fatty into a black and white fatty.  two tone guards and black teardrop shape on tank. Got a quote today  $1200. I know you get what you pay for but it seems way over the top to me. I have new OEM tank and guards painted to my colour and with new decals  on the way from Colormania in the usa delivered for 1400, ( bought when dollar was   100 , plan was to have two sets of tins and swap over occasionly . At that price i would be better buying another set from US and selling my originals , work out cheaper than  the half a paint job. So question is, does anyone know of  any painters who might do cashies or have any experience with  any QLd painters i might look at. Cheers Rob

I did actually think of DIY but  not for long lol,  Will check out Blocker near the plaza  he always seems to get the young guys cars so he must be reasonable price,  I think they see bike and double the price for some reason

Also try Hanz Kruzen, The Paint Doctor in Maryborough, he will do a basic custom air brush job a little over $1000, so am guessing a simple two tone should be fairly cheap.

This bloke is really bloody good and has already done a few forum members bikes, he frequently gets his work on magazine covers, he will even accept tins being posted to him.

Thanks Will give him a call , i,ve seen his work  locally on a couple of bikes here, fugured he would not be interested in a standard paint , but will ask

    Cheers
