I am looking at putting on some ape hangers, thinking 16'' or 18'', currently have the standard 10'' bars.  I live in W.A. What is the legal high for hanger in this state. does anyone know. Cheers Ash.

I had the stock 10"s on my new bike and couldn't wait to get the 16"s back on I'm 6 2"and find them comfy as hell i also put a 2"tank lifter on my bike so the bars don't look so high. The only time i ever got hassled by a cop was in the middle of bum fuck no where on my old bike up in QLD. He brought a tape out of his car and measured the bars then busted me for to high and to wide. As someone else said just some hick cop with nothing better to do. I have never been hassled about them in NSW.

I think I will go the 16's. I can always go larger risers later. Cheers for the info.
