Dropped by M&W on the Goldie today & saw a Black Nightster waiting for delivery. I have 2 months to go for mine What a great looking bike! Someone won't be getting much sleep tonight!!....Lucky Bugger.
Hell I can't even order mine till next month, maybe, at the earliest, I wonder how long it will take.
when i ordered my sporty from frasers at homebush i was told 5 months this was last year then one day i decided to go for a drive to frasers at broadmeadow after i had already left deposit at homebush and sitting in the corner of their showroom was the exact bike i had ordered from homebush after a talk to the sales person there a little bit of whinging a couple of phone calls they did a stock swap for me and i had it after about 2 weeks but the thing that got me was the sales person at homebush asured me none of their other dealers had 1i guess i was lucky cheers.
Interesting post Dave. I asked what availability was like, was told late Aug was the best I could hope for. I specifically asked could they stock swap from othe dealers as I would presfer to deal locally & not wait till Aug. Was told Harley don't do that. I just changed my order today to another dealer close by that can supply the exact bike in 2 weeks!! They only had to make the phone call I made and they'd have sold me the bike & delivered it locally.
I work in a similar industry & we pull stock from Syd, Melb, even NT to keep our clients happy & local. Don't make sense??
Good news is my Nightster in Vivid Black with V&H Black Short Shots, SE AC + Doebeck now arrives in a week . I'm bouncing off the walls!!!!

I'm f*^%'n gutted!! Got the old dealer phone call yesterday that the bike they said was to be here NOW, still hasn't left the US?! Was told should be only 2-3 weeks more? Unless the bike is strapped to the top of a nuclear sub I think this is B.S!!

I understand it's hard to monitor the bike from so far away. I struggle every day at work with stuff coming from Germany, but man I was soooo excited!! BUGGER!
