i'm thinking about 18 inch with a wide grip but i wanna see a few different hights on bike..

Yep, each to their own. I just don't get it. I reckon any apes over 12" look shithouse on any bike.
Except on me Malvern Star Dragster, 3 speed on the bar, oh and then there was my chopper, 26" frame, 4' forks, 20" dragster wheels (white walls of course) 12" apes with Maltese Cross mirrors and rear reflector, banana seat and 14" sissy bar. Could drop a wheelie for miles with the front wheel 3" off the ground just by leaning back!

I was in the bike shop yesterday checking out some apes to put on my Deuce but all i can go to in Qld is 12" bars and 900mm wide, which is a little bit higher than what i have now. I checked out Burleigh bars but they were about $550.00 sheeeet!!. I will take some pics when i get some on.
Went to the Dept of Transport today and checked out the height that you can go in QLD as everyone has a different opinion, even the bike shops, and found out that you can go 380mm(15 inches) from the top of your tripple trees to the lowest part of your handgrip up.....thats bloody huge as far as im concerned(that 15 inches just to your handgrips). I even rang up when i got home to double check. "The lowest part of the hand grip on the handle bars must not be higher than 380mm above the attachment point of the handle bars to the motorbike." All sorted out now, i think that the bike shops should know there facts!!
