Went for a quick blast to Albany on  Friday night, left about 6pm, Stop at a B&B in Kojonup, for the night, got into Albany at 9am this morning, did all the tourist things, also went into Great Southern Motorcycles the local Harley dealer, Took a couple of photos of the 48 they have entered in Judgement Day.

Left to return home at 2pm, arrived home at 5.40pm and 896klm later.

Almost forgot to mention, got picked up by the boys and girlls in blue just out of Williams on the way home for speeding, lucky for me I got a slap on the wrist and her number.

Last night was a great night for riding, must have been about 26C

Sounds like a blast, which route did you take there and back?
You think its "do-able" in one day?

Sounds great Bakes. A "quick" blast alright....I've been wanting to do that for ages. I have family in Albany and places to stay. Maybe next time you go, if in the near future give me a hollor I'd be keen....It's on the list for early next year. Or maybe before? At least it's cooler down there this time of the year, cooler than Perth anyway. I've been going down to Albany for years. Love it down there. It's prob the only place in W.A that gets rain in summer/Xmas time...haha......

Well the wife has just got home from an overseas holiday, I think she has noticed that the previous Triumph has somehow changed into a Wide glide lol, so on that note, when my ears stop ringing,
and she decides to talk to me again, I'm keen on going for a day run for sure, am on hols from 17 Dec to 17 Jan.

outa curiosity, how many tanks of fuel did ya go through?
Crasher, Im not one for really "giving it some" to be honest, still getting used to the bike etc,
I usually sit on or around the speed limit.

The south coast in summer - doesn't get any better!

If you end up planning that group ride I wouldn't mind tagging along if ok with you blokes? maybe even do the overnight thing in Albany and back through the southwest (just a suggestion)  would finally get to meet a few of you aswell....

I'm heading down that way in January sometime anyway to catch up with a mate (new trumpy rider but we forgive him!) would be good to kill 2 birds etc.
