I hate to say it ireland, but you missed a good ride. (I hope the night before was worth it?) . Will leave report to 2evo as he has the pics, including some great ones of Rod & Custom meeting at Burniyong (I hope thats the correct spelling) where we stopped for lunch. I know you mightn't beleive this, but it was bright sunshine & "Hot" at Ballarat. Also, met another Forum member. Great day but got very windy towards Gippsland on the way back.
Ok--here is the attempt to put in the pix.... after we left Ballarat we went to Buninyong for lunch and rode back via Geelong. There was a show and shine happening there so after lunch we walked over. Thanks to Fatman for organising the ride-- My "Minder" Dave on the left.... 1958 Vette--best of show ""We swear by the Southern Cross""
Oh Yeah!
somethings stuffed up with immages...
Was looking forward to someone posting some pics as I missed out on the ride - if it helps at all I only use webshots.com - very easy to post & link to your topic - has never let me down yet.
This was my first time riding in a group. Found it a bit different at first but soon got the hang of it. Better still, the navigator enjoyed it! Looking forward to the next one.
Here's a couple of the pics I took.
Not sure if you guys seen a couple of people up on the bridge at Bacchus Marsh, Yes that was me,Just taking a couple of shots and a bit of filming also, I think the numbers were down this year not sure on the reason but hey who gives a shit, sounds like ya had a good run and thats the main thing.
Hey Finny...the reason the Nos were down this year was that the Guy that usually does the "Flyers & Advertising", had a heart attack & carked it (RIP). By the time everything was organised, & the flyers sent out, it was too late for a lot of the various groups to organise the ride. Next year the ride will be back to normal, plus the Eureka Stockade renovations will be completed by then, & the ceremony will be held inside. (as told by Turk, aka Mike, who led the ride.)....cheers guys....are you going to post the pics?
See wat i can do......And the short film
