As the subject says, anyone have any thoughts on the kromwerks slipons?

If it makes any difference, they'd be going on a current model Wide glide.

I can get a pair at a good price from M&M, but would like to hear of others who has them.

In particular, how loud are they? Sure I want the HD sound, but I dont need the extra

attention from the boys in blue, and to a lesser extent, piss of the neighbours.

Got a pair on my modded 04 WG. Great note, very deep, but pretty quiet in my opinion. Get a good throaty growl when you get on the gas. I like them. If you drop it into a higher gear, you can idle past a cop car hardly making a sound.

There are definitely times though when I wish for a bit more attitude, and consider a Bassani 2-1 or some Sonic slip ons like I had on my last bike. They were loud, but sounded great.

Sounds like from what you're wanting the Khrome Werks will be just the ticket. I reckon you'll love them.

Your previous pipes, were they stock? Mine are still stock, and Im hoping the slipons will be a fair bit louder than the bee's farting noise Im currently experiencing.

Without starting a new thread, any have the V&H Big Radius 2 into 2's on a WG.
Was wondering if they offer more ground clearance over stock.
