The 2010 Toy Run will leave Anzac Highway, Glenelg at 11 am on Sunday, December 12 for Hahndorf Oval, arriving at approx. 12 noon.

This is what I got yesterday regarding this years toy run, and its not good news. The run is still on but with little to no help from the government ot police

Hello All,
Despite the best plans we have to make a significant change to the Toy Run this year.
Due to significant Police resourcing issues the Toy Run for this year will have to exit at the Hahndorf exit.
Also because of these issues intersections on Cross Roads will only be controlled by traffic lights. We are trying to get extended time on the "green" lights but cameras (where applicable) will operate as normal.
Normal road rules will apply to the whole road. There will be no "one ways" as we have enjoyed in previous years.
What does this mean? Well we expect a HUGE bottleneck of traffic at the Hahndorf exit. We expect the "round-a-bout" at Verdun to create it's own problems. We expect riders will be challenged as they accomodate cars trying to get off at Verdun.
All we can do is ask riders to remember the Christmas spirit and "Share the Road".

Even more reason this year to do what I normally do and head up to Handorf at least half an hour early.  It's good to see all the bikes at Glenelg but stuff riding in huge slow pack like that.

Problem is, enough people do that and the toy runs finished

Man why dont they just outlaw the run an then some real fun can start .. Can any-one explain W-T-F is happening to the whole
ride for charity .Thing is, it seems the revenue raised and the piss of the biker bit is more what the GOVT wants, than to let us
have a fun charity run and do the work . ie support families an kids at XMAS and other times that cant (wont) be funded by the
pollies " gotta study trip on"

POOR MAN PAYS TWICE!! So what happens when all the guys who leave their bikes at home all year come along and without the cuntstabulary direction, cause a heap of crashes? They will end up being there anyway SO JUST ROCK UP TO START WITH MR POLICE!!!!
