I saw the end of a One HD show on the weekend on the new HD 48.( 1/2 hour infomersial ) There was a real push to promote them as a young bloks bike. Considering I'm 41 and could never afford to buy a harley when I was younger what's the go do harley want more sales hasen't the vrod and rocker done good enough for them. So what's the average age of people on harley's?

I'm 41 also and from what I've seen we are the young blokes when it comes to riding Harleys. Most I ride with are in their late 40's early 50's.
I think we had a poll on here once about age, and that indicated the same.

Mate i am 44 and was looking for a new bike, and to be honest the iron 883 jumped out and bit me good and proper.
For me its a comuter bike, inner urban brawler machine that i need and the iron does it in heaps and spades.
Hate spoke wheels with a passion one nail and its push it home time.
I dont like the big twins that much but the effort they put into the sporties over the last couple of years must be paying dividends the price is bang on ongoing maintenance is minimal and got style with a capital S
And yes its getting the younger crowd in the couple of guys i see around my corner of town are all younger than me

With some of the big houses, boats and cars that the younger generation are forkin out for there is obviously more money in younger pockets these days (and 2 incomes, kids in daycare) maybe HD is aimin at pickin some of that up. Would be interesting to see if the age is younger in the USA for buyers.
