Yep, pretty much what Peter said, once you load the base map it's then a matter of riding the bike to allow the auto-tune to adjust to your bike's setup. In the updated map listing from Zippers there's only one base map for the 883 Sportster (map 416) and it only caters for high-flow exhaust not air-cleaner?? For that reason I personally wouldn't go without the auto-tune, I think that's the best thing about the the TMAX. I got mine from M&M cycles for $860 AU delivered with auto-tune and don't forget there is a specific model for the Sportster.

Yep, like Scotty says a head temp threshold of 410 will clear any warning lights, my maximum logged head temp was around 350 and the light was coming on because the default head temp threshold was 330. Haven't had a problem since increasing it. I rekon the 4.8 firmware runs better on the Sporty than the 4.7.
