I recently purchased a set of slip on Screaming Eagle exhausts part # 80150-97.  After installing I was really disappointed with the sound (the local posties bike sounds louder) I have searched the net and can see mention of changing the baffles by removing screws and knocking them out.  I have looked all over the new pipes and can’t see anything, in fact everything looks welded in.

Does anyone have any solutions?  If not they are going in the garbage. 

 

I have SE slip ons, and they sound great - sorry, that's not much help...?

Your are right. I have knocked the centre out to make them a bit louder and I think that will have to do.
