I bought some stuff off Mark earlier this year, after 2 weeks it hadn't left his shop. I emailed Mark just as an update to what is happening with it & he said waiting on 1 part to arrive but I will send what I have & send that 1 part when I get it, freight on the 1 part at his expense. By the time I emailed back to him to say just wait for the 1 part he had already sent it.

Here is another story, I bought some stuff from a particular US  HD dealer on 1st October this year, after 3 weeks made an enquiry via email with no reply. 2 days later sent another email with no reply. Done this 4 times with no reply. I rang the fuckers asking where my shit is. Was told they only work on Thursday & Friday. I rang them on there Thursday and was told waiting on gasket, however we will replace it with equivalent HD gasket & send it. After ringing them 3 weeks in a row & being told we will replace with equivalent HD gasket & send I asked them to forget the gasket & send it.

    It left thier shop yesterday

There are some things that I buy local. Walka, Reno and Huck are all awesome people to deal with but some stuff offer significant savings by buying from the US. Mark at M&M is fantastic, the service he offers is second to none and he is a funny bugger to go with it! 5-7 days is all it takes if he has the parts in stock.

Have dealt with Mark at M&M a few times now. He is very good, and I agree with the time frames quoted above. With the $Aussie so f*kn strong at the moment, the GLW is even telling me to get stuff from the US!

My Dealings with M&M have been fantastic.

I had Mark ring me late one night because he had trouble getting a gasket through custom chrome and wanted to know if I wouldn't mind getting a gasket of another brand, just so my order wasn't being held up with a backorderd gasket. I order a fair bit of stuff through M&M for myself and friends, and I have never had a single problem.

I found them great to deal with and had the goods within about 10 days...Bit of a scare when it went missing in Oz but still made the 10 day delivery time...I don't think there is any need to worry...

    I have used M&M twice.

Mark was excellent and very patient as we traded many emails until I was confident I was ordering exactly what I wanted.

I had my parts within 10 days

I would not hesitate to use M&M again.

Based on the advice from this site, I've just placed an order this morning for around $650 worth of bells and whistles for the new Street Bob, so i'll let you know how it goes. Being the indecisive git I am, I put in 3 different quote requests before I made up my mind and all of them were answered within a day. I also checked the prices on a few other US sites and M&M was by far the cheaper. Not to mention the $500 of savings I can inject back into the beer fund by not getting it from the stealer in Aus.

    Cheers, Chris.
