Well done StreetBob, that's pretty much the list.

    Mods are:

Exhaust wrapped in black (two layers for extra fatness)
    Joker Machine Air Cleaner
Cycle Shack slip on mufflers, painted black outside red inside
Sportster 48 seat retrimmed Bentley style in suede and leather
Dyna/Sportster headlight Nacelle - powder coated satin black
Coil and ignition relocation to opposite side between engine banks
    Tank lift and wire tuck
    Avon White Walls

I have a couple more trinkets arriving this week from the USA including Xieds, risers, points cover, smaller mirrors, plus Joker machine smaller lights and master cylinder cover, but that's about it for the new look until the Screamin Eagle Stage II 1200 kit goes in.

Will update with higher resolution shots soonly.

Purple and green affect is courtesy of photoshop manipulation by the way. The real colour of the wall can be seen in the background of the later shots.

Avon white walls are available from many places depending on your state. Just Google them.

    Mate,

Just wanted to let you know that I saw your bike in the Street in Sydney and it inspired me to buy an Iron 833, take ownership of one on Tuesday!

Quick question on the head light though as the current stock with visor looks shhhittthoussseee.

Did you drill a hole in the bar between the forks to mount the head light? I'm looking to install a bullet/freight train light

Wow, that's cool man. I hope you enjoy it - I sure am.

The headlight itself is the stock one, but what surrounds it is a discontinued shroud that is a genuine Harley part known as the 'Dyna/Sportster headlight nacelle'. They come up on eBay USA every now and then and they are a kit that bolts on. I can return it to the original headlight easily. They only come in chrome so I had the one I bought (about $150) powder coated, which cost about $80.

I have more changes on the way soon too, so hopefully another new look will improve on what I have now. I get bored pretty easily so even though I love it it needs to evolve.

    Cheers,

The exhausts aren't red inside any more! I painted that and it looked awesome for about five minutes until the exhaust made them black ... LOL.

Anyway, the rear shocks are off the Road King and are the shorter of the two options. They are air shocks that you can add air to that will increase their stiffness, though with no air they are perfect. Mine are the 12-inch eye-to-eye models and I picked them up off eBay USA for $100 the pair. They are a big improvement over the stock suspension, look cool and installation just requires a couple of washers to space them correctly.

Actually, they only come in black from Halrey. There are chrome ones but they're aftermarket.

Just search ebay USA for Road King or Touring air shocks.

Did you also use a seat kit? Any idea where to get cheap ones from?

Does the suede stay soggy after rain, or they repel? Like the look of the suede, but have assumed it wasnt good for melb commute

    Well, a few things:

1: My trimmer assured me that suede was fine in the rain

2: I don't ride in the rain anyway, and even if I do get caught out I'm sitting on the seude anyway so it actually doesn't get very wet

3: You could always do the same thing in leather...
