"The High Court has declared as unconstitutional South Australia's controversial bikie laws banning members from associating.

The judgment throws into doubt a key aspect of South Australia's Serious and Organised Crime Control Act, where restrictions could be placed on gang members without a court having the power to review the evidence.

The High Court has sided with the Finks motorcycle club, which challenged South Australia's laws.

The decision upholds a ruling by the SA Supreme Court in 2009 that found aspects of the state's anti-bikie laws to be unconstitutional.

The South Australian government has been ordered to pay costs to Finks motorcycle gang members Sandro Totani and Donald Hudson."

Rann merely did what most politicians do - make themselves look good no matter the cost or lies that need to be told . i dont live in SA , but what rann did crept into other States. removing civil liberties was never gunna be allowed - even our own head of DPP in NSW said they were stupid , unworkable.

anti-bikie laws to be unconstitutional,you have to wonder why they tried to put them into place in the first place without checking to see if it was constitutional. Somebody should be putting there hand up and admitting that they've stuffed it, cost the tax payers money, and that they're looking for a new job.

It would be nice if the rest of the "general population" realised what a great good has been done for the benefit of everyone by these individuals.

Imagine how much tax payer dollars have been wasted firstly to draft these ill thought out laws and secondly to try and enforce them.  Pretty stupid the whole thing.

Been watching this unfold all day, even the interview with Atkinson on the radio this morning. They stuffed up and they still won't admit it.

I have never seen a poly like rann lie and cheat as much as he dose and gets voted back in.Well rann this decision must be a big kick in the guts.I liked the way he put a brave face on in parliament but we all no when he got home he would of cryed like a baby in is wifes arms.He would of said why cant i win and why dosent anybody like me and i hope his wife said get away from me you snivelling little turd BECAUSE RANN THATS WHAT YOU ARE A SNIVELLING LITTLE TURD. the war aint over yet fellas ,thell come back on some other legal friggin direction ,our attorney general in wa is trying to invent his own version ,the government try bring in some search laws but got defeated by some country party members specially a hot little cutie polly .the establishment are allways after scapegoats ,sorry robo ,bikies are it if the law was past i think only alternate was to get all clubs to fly to indonesia and come back by boat ....

It is absolutely great that the Finks have had another win in this case, It is a win for all of us.

What sucks is that I bust my arse everyday to pay taxes before I get my wages so I can again pay taxes and levy's on everything this state gumbyment can find to put levy's on. Then they go and spend all my hard earned money on legal fees in a case where they are trying to take away my rights as a citizen of this country, This is the second time they have lost and that wanker Rann reckons it isn't over yet.

How much more of my money are people going to let this wanker spend on a cause that he can't possibly win, Who voted him back in???
