Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but an sa bike rider was killed today at semaphore in a hit and run accident. Allegedly the driver had been drinking at a near by pub. Car driver doing a right hand turn pulled out in front of the bike which laid it down and then he drove over bike and rider. He stopped at first and then took of when witnesses had their backs turned. Police have released video fottage of the car involved. Hope they chatch the fucker and hang him by his balls.

One of the witnesses stated they followed that car after it pulled out of a local drinking hole and saw the whole thing unfold . Was on news update mate. Not that that makes it true i spose.

Either way the driver is a spinless fuckwit for running, need i say more!

Not sure what channel it was bro, was just on in background and i spun around and looked when i heard it.

it,s not the 1st time ,   in 1978 my brother was killed in a motorcycle accident 1 am on the old hume h/way  the only car on the road caused the accident & never stopped they think the arsehole took off up a dirt side road  , i bet he was a local ( fucking  drunken hillbilly

Pretty discraceful behaviour by car driver, they will catch them.  Semaphore is my local beach I go there all the time.  I ride up and down that esplanade frequently.  Traffic on that road barely goes over 50, pretty scary to think you can cop it on a road like that.

It happened to me at Erina on the Central Coast in 1982. A driver pulled out of a smash repair shop after picking up his girlfriends car without looking, I did not even get to hit the brakes. I was only doing a bit under 40k's around a corner when it happened but damn it hurt and bent the bike up. The bloke drove off, I am like wtf? I got part of the rego number and went into the panel shop who saw it and went inside. I asked to use the phone, blood everywhere etc and they refused, I asked them if they knew the bloke and they said no idea. I had to go to a phone booth and call the cops who also called an Ambulance. The cops took immediate action at the panel shop to start with and within 20 minutes had found the guy. They took him in and did a blood test and found him to be over the limit. They also said they would take action on the panel shop for not rendering assistance but I do not know the outcome of that. The one good thing that came from that was a neck injury that gave me a helmet exemption right up to the day they were taken away from everyone!

Funny thing is about 12 months after that a mate was living in a caravan at the Erina caravan park, we took off one morning heading to Sydney and on the road right outside the same panel shop that was now closed was a wallet with $450 in cash and nothing esle, no ID etc.

I nstead of wasting time & money on Anti Bikie Laws they should bring in automatic jail terms for leaving the scene

hi. fat pete no they never found that low life arsehole,  that was back in 1978 i lost my best mate  in may that year & my brother in dec  both in motorcycle accidents ,   1978 was the worse year for death's on our roads  2,525 people lost their live's  that year the most ever recorded, my mate was a  champ road racer @ that time he held 2  C grade lap record's @ Oran Park  1 was broken by & 18 year old  by the name of Wayne Gardner,                                        the manager of boyded holden hit him head on he must have been piss drunk,   in a brand new  holden statesman  (no witnesses , boyded holden looked after all the local cop car's @ that time  the  broken glass was found on his ( my mate ) side of the road but it was all swept under the carpet ,                     he was coming home from the motorcycle racing club meeting  (Parramatta city motorcycle racing club) on a monday nite @ about 10.30pm i don't think they work back that late on a monday nite  ? allways be carefull around pub closing time's,                                                                                                     but on the other hand it was my brother's 1st motorcycle crash,    he never  made it , he broke his colar bone & broke his jaw in 3 place's  also ingested a gravel stone about  3/4 " round lodge down his wind pipe ( open face helment) he couldn't breath he die'd  on the side of the h/way before the medic's could reach him,           he had 3 very young son's .     it's hard to understand sometime's as i've have had  maybe @ least over 50 motorbike accident's some real stupid 1's  esp when younger  & only ever broke a couple of bone's ,  & still racing bike's @ 54yrs old ,  what can you do when there's arsehole's out there in car's  that are just no word's to discribe , i ride so forsefull & hate everybody when i'am on the bike & make sure the car's know your there otherwise they will clean you up then there's no 2nd chance,        all the best
