My Fatty is as low as Fatty can go mate. I dont know about yours but mine scrapes on pretty much everthing and has less lean angle than me after a few beers.

mon   If you want it real low, fit struts, that will make it ridgid, as if you still have the shocks and hit bumps they go lower and scrape, but ridgid they have a set hight that stays set. they are hard but a low softail has bugger all travel b4 it bottoms out so not much difference in ride.

Mon, struts are a solid replacement for your shocks, you can make them any length you like as long as you have tyre & ground clearance.

Mine is lowered an inch and a half. Corners ok with care (and a fair bit of time out of the seat). Looks cool though IMHO which is far more important than practicality.

Got a new set of genuine HD chrome shockies that lower the rear end by 2" if your interested, then just fit your lowering bolts to lower further.

Tried them on my bike and was to low for me, would kill my foot boards.

Send me a PM if your interested.

    Nice Fatty!!

I have mine lowered a couple of inches. With the stock seat it was a killer. The Mustang is better, but it is still a hard ride, and yes, cornering you will need to get off the seat in the twisties!!
