No worries, cost about $250 in parts, 20 minutes to fit up.

Theres a much cheaper option which, although ain't perfect, did the job for me. I ride very little at night (as I believe that daytime is for ridin and nightime is for drinkin!)

In your left headlight (the factory high beam headlight) is also a parker light. (fucked if I know why?) which is always on along with the low beam (right  hand headlight)

What I did was cut and swap the wires between the high beam and the parker. Now both headlights are always on (when switched to low beam)

To overcome the possibility of blinding every MF, I just tilted the headlight assembly down a little. Have tried it at night and only get the occasional flash from oncomers! so that'll do me.

Switch to high beam and of course you only get low........but like I said........I don't ride at night much............and now my bike don't look like it's got a blown headlight!!

The trade off is that at night my high beam ain't so great.........although a damn site better than the old wideglide!

...............Did I mention that I'm too pissed to ride at night anyway!

if ya look hard enough there's a thread on this forum that shows you how, buy connecting two wires in the switch block to get both lights on when the high beam is switched on from memory, then ya just leave it turned on for both lights on.....so ya look like a Triumph instead of a Harley .....

yeah sorry i'm always at work on here so cant post pics

that original new globe burnt out pretty quick, thought it was my dodgy wiring,
but bought 5000k white globes like the asians have in their honda's off ebay for the tasmania trip
and they have been shining super bright and hard for 4000+klms now! happy days (and nights!!)

While on the subject of headlights for the Fatbob. My Bob lost an eye and its never been better (particularly when night riding). I bought one of those bates style of fleabay and gave the wiring a go myself (no electrical idea at all). Found some wiring diagrams on the net and armed with a soldering iron and heat shrink......PRESTO! Very happy with it.

You should have just brought a Fatboy... The twin headlight sets the Fatbob apart from the rest.
