Well I installed my PV with Auto tune on my SG 12 last week. Wide bands in a fullsac pipe. 107 10.5;1 and still pedalling the TM577 cam set and cnc heads.  I had DIY 'd my original tune from the super tuner and set it as the original tune in my PV.  I then ran it on Auto tune for several runs over 3 days, resetting and logging each run. All in all , it has improved a lot. No more decel pop.

Its a flash tuner like SE and TTS. I don't have a dyno. It's the next best thing and I retain my Delphi ecu. If it all goes to shit I can return to the Supertuner.

For me, the PV is so much easier to u and understand. But hey, they all do the same job. There. Is a lot to learn and , as an auto electrician, it has my interest .

Can confirm, I've updated to latest version and have no issues to report. One thing I've noticed is that it includes 2 extra tune slots for use which is pretty cool.
There's also an updated tune database 0.0.9.31, I only updated a month or so ago and I had 0.0.9.29.

On another note, I've been having some issues getting my bike right using the tune that Dynojet recommended (11X054002401 SE/AC, BASSANNI PRO STREET 2-2).
After a over a week of basic auto-tuning and fiddling in WinPV and not really getting anywhere, I got in touch with Fuel Moto USA.
They provide specialised support to customers who have purchased the Power Vision unit through them. I did not purchase my unit from them so I didn't think to contact them for help.
After getting to my wits end, I finally emailed them and explained the situation ...and they're fucking legends. A guy named Brian got in touch with me and provided me with a custom map that's much closer to my bike's specification.
I haven't got around to applying the FuelMoto tune but I've compared it to the 11X054002401 tune in WinPV and there's some interesting differences!

    hi,

yeah thats the weird thing noctm, I think dynojet just churns maps out, fuelmoto more hands on with testing and developing kits etc to sell with performance a high priority, the basics components of EFI map should be similar,

    thanks

I had a similar issue when I bought my powervision a year and a half ago.  You CANNOT Autotune one of their  prewritten files if it say "PC IMPORT".  I contacted Dynojet and told them what I had, and they sent a file that I then loaded and could Autotune.

    Hope this helps

    Tim

Really? I wasn't aware the PC Import files being unable to be tuned, that makes a bit of sense considering the issues I was having. That being said, it had to have been doing something as the base map did perform differently than it did after a few auto tune sessions.

I wish they had been that helpful when I contacted them. All they did was keep telling me to just use a pre-loaded map that was "close" to my specification, very unimpressed with their support in that sense.

I just purchased a PV1 and Andrews 48 cams from Phat performance. Ive had a SERT and TTS on other bikes and decided to give the PV a go. My fat bob is pretty stock just a KN filter in the standard air box and SE slip ons. I dont intend to do the cams to later in the year, Just flash the PV and auto tune it for the time being.

    Hi all,

What's the go with the Basic tune function on the PV1 in regards to the PC Import maps on offer ? from what I'm reading the maps don't like the Basic tune feature
on the PV1.My set up SE slip on's and KN filter I was looking at map 11D096002301 PC Import. That's the one for Rush pipes and SE filter.
Am I better off to contact Dynojet for a map I can use Basic tune function on.Am I on the right track here.Cheers

Hi Glaz. I have heard that the power vision doesn't auto-tune the PC Import maps either, but I seemed to be able to do it fine in the sense that it let me do it and it did pick up and want to change some values.

As an alternative, you can download the map off their website (not sure if it still counts as a PC Import map from there) and load it to the device and then auto tune.

The 11D096002301 map you mentioned might be close enough that it may not matter either way.

    G-day fellas,

Installed the power vision the other day and found it very user friendly. Loaded a PC tune bike ran fantastic no decel popping all good reved clean.

Very impressed. Have run power commander lll, Vance hines fuel pak, TTS, on other bikes I like this the best by far, but in saying that its early days. Cheers

I purchased and installed the new Target Tune, as I already had the WB O2 sensors I only needed the TT module. I was going on the Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre and was hoping to get the Target Tune installed before I went but unfortunately it arrived the day after I left. After I got back 7,500 km later my Autotune had degraded a little and after installing the Target Tune and a modified tune from Fuel Moto the tune instantly improved and after riding around it just got better. I thought I had the tune pretty good with Autotune Pro but the Target Tune is a whole lot better. My bike has never run better. I can't see I'll need to do anymore Autotunes unless I make major changes to my engine but the feature is there if I need to. I am very happy with this product.

Anything else apart from SOP to verify your tune ?
Independant verification of AFR , torque , horsepower ?

I broke the screen on my powervision the other day, I'm pretty pissed off that I cannot buy a replacement screen. All the unit is, is a board and screen. The Main board is in perfect fond and the unit works as normal when plugged into the laptop. The screen just plugs into a socket on the board. Dynojet have said no deal and to just buy a new unit. It's bullshit. There is nothing wrong with my unit. I just want a screen.

    RE: broken screen.
Have you tried Fred at pro cycle dyno in Springwood?
He is an agent for them. Maybe a secondhand one laying around.

SOP only. I purchased PV auto tune in the first place so I could tune the bike myself. After I got the motor work done I didn't want the motor being thrashed on a dyno so I have no idea what the HP and torque are. I don't really care just as long as I'm happy with the performance and how the bike runs.

    G-Day all,

I did a really smart thing with my PV when I purchased it I installed the update client in 64-bit and flashed a map close to what im running.

All sweet left it like that for about 6 months than decided its time for a basic tune and see how she runs. Well I checked for updates on the PC

Before I started and down loaded them in 32-bit ? Now they are not talking to each other. When I tried basic tune it said no 02 sensors found?

There are 02 sensors on the tune I installed?

Tried to installed stock map and tune and there not talking to each other. The point is the fxdf and my PV aren't communicating and I think thats

what I've done set it up with 64-bit then updated it in 32-bit Could anyone shed some light on this please. Cheers.

    I also have Target tune.

    SG 2012 103 57s fullsac/VH monster rounds and .030 HG.

Awesome product for DIY. FM map and a couple of A/Ts. excellent on cruise. AFF's &  CLI's are centralising to 100% mostly. some alterations are needed in map around timing and accel enrichment. other than that its great. My VE's are excellent. I use megalogviewer to log all my data. This is and ecxellent tool also for DIY or Pro tuners.

    Just Sayin'
