Master reset button. No need to use it unless instructed to do so by PV.

cant remember if I ever had the OK issue or not mate but always had the new map flash ok. Try to down load each map to the PC and keep them for reference and back up so you can always go back to the previous set ups if needed.
Some times not possible but I always buy my fuel at the same place, when I cant I try to use the same brand. If none of that is possible I top it up at the next chance I get with my preferred brand.

I have fitted and full custom advance mapped over 40 Power Visions with great results. I get the best results on the Fly By Wire bikes. The extra adjustments in the PV allow precice throttle actuation. Really feels like a standard cable response when riding. The speedo calibration adjustment is also good for some bikes have a speedo reading too low. On the Dyno we can adjust it perfect. I think it is the leading unit on the market today. Cheers.

Guys, I know this is an old thread, but can anyone comment on the long term performance of your Power Vision tuner? Are you happy with them, and in hindsight would you have done anything different?
I ask as this is my first EFI bike and I have done a LOT of research. Apparently, most people (like me), who can switch on a computer can generally re tune their own bikes in their garage. Is this the case? I still wonder about the SERT though! $650 odd dollars, so it's comparable to the Power Vision. I wonder how easy it is to use?? Comments and feedback appreciated,

I bought my power vision tuner from Fuel Moto in the USA, free life time tunes and was easy to tune the bike. The bike has been going for 18 months with out a problem and motor runs great.

Great advice, thanks guys!! Next question, do I buy direct from Fuel Moto $499 plus postage, or do I buy locally? Is there any benefit buying direct? Can they add additional maps or will the local guys have exactly the same product?
There is a mob in Hornsby (Sydney), that are advertising them for $495.00.

you can buy direct from DYNOJET
    or locally I guess

dynojet may not have a great range of maps listed on the site for down load but if you email them they WILL send you a GOOD map in a very short time

Had advise from Hilly and a few others and did my own, was pretty simple in the end but did dick around plenty to get it just right.

This is why I LOVE this site!! Lots of knowledge and experience.. Anyhow, I sent Jamie an E Mail asking fo a delivered rate and whether he can load it up with maps. I'll also go to Ultima in Hornsby as they sell them brand new in the box and I can ask some questions..I've already got my Ness Big Sucker on the bench ready to go and the Monster Rounds are on the bike....

I wouldn't mind trying one of these but I lost my original map so I'm afraid it's a no go...

that's why I always have at least 3 copies of the current map. 1 in the bike, 1 in the PV unit, 1 on the PC and if I remember 1 as a file on the phone

TTS tell me they cannot retrieve my map so if I want to go down this path I need to try and get an original map...I tried to email HD but couldn't find an address. The bike is an import so I might email the dealer that sold the bike new as I have all his details and see if he can help.

OK guys, after much deliberation, I've placed an order direct with Fuel Moto. Look forward to installing the Big Sucker, AND the Power Vision. I'll keep you updated!

ive just done the same thing, Jamie has been great to work with . they supplied a map to suit, but now i want to do an auto tune to get rid of the last of the decal pop so my question is whats the best way to do auto tune runs, ie.. flat out in all gears , just ride like normal or just use the first 4 gears etc
thanks and sorry for the hijack
