Am I guessing correct that even a stock bike will benifit?

I'm finding everything else on a Harley needs upgrading so the same for the mapping.........

Hi Nomada, when I downloaded the available tunes for my 2012 softy, there was a standard bike - Improved tune.

As a trial I flashed my bike with this first just to see. When I compared it to my stock trim it was pretty different. When I rode the bike it was about a 5-8% improvement all around.

I have slip-ons and it stopped the deceleration popping totally. It certainly felt better and allowed me to raise the rev limiter as well.

So yes, even a stock bike will benefit - especially if you ever do anything else to it later. It will run a bit cooler as the tuner will enrich the fuel ratio.

    Cheers sHred,

It looks like a sound system and I haven't seen anyone bag it out yet.

I might need to find some cash...

Send Jamie a email at fuelmoto and ask for a map to suit your bike. He's done well with this site selling the PTV and I'm sure he will help you out as he is a good bloke.

Wish I could help mate but I have no clue about the PCV. The only guy I know is Jammie so as above give him a call and run that past him.

Am picking up my bike tomorrow, softail slim and can't wait. Reading this site (awesome for a first time Harley owner by the way), looks like I need to get a tuner to help the bike run better/cooler and PV sounds like the go.
The local Harley dealer told me that if I used a PV then I would void the warranty. If that's right then I understand it can only avoid what it can impact (parts of engine). Alot of people here seem to be putting it on a new bike - are you hearing the same from dealers?

I was actually thinking of giving the PV a try but because I have lost my original map it's a no go, Jamie said I need the original map to start with...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but with the PV system you plug it in, load the map you want, unplug the PV (unless you want the screen mounted).

If this is right, after you unplug, how would the stealer know what system your using? Doesn't other types piggy back of your bike and have to stay connected.

Thanks gents. Going to use the PV and load the original kit /tune back on at service time.

Power vision is good i'm still trying to get a good tune from the US got rid of all me decel but lost a bit of power still more than original. Jamie revised the map for me. Been trying the auto tune but still not 100% sure what i'm doin wrong but it's a learning curvae and with the screen it make it easy to just put the new or old one back in or see what changes are being made.

Mate i have a 2012 FXDB street bob slip on V&H and arlen ness stage 1 sucker.

I loaded the tune from dynojet have heaps more power and throttle response but heaps of decel, the map jamie gave me got rid of the decel but is a bit lacking in the power. Not sure why but there are a few paramaters on there that are diff between the 2 like speedo pulses and also it had 96.9 cubes the dynojet had 96.7. The other is the closed throttle spark parameters on the dynojet it is 20 on the fuelmoto it is 25 i'm not sure what this does with relation to the bike.

Obvious fuel trims are diff but look close enough not to be a problem.

I'm not good with efi stuff in fact hopless but still trying lol.

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $497.50 DELIVERED AUSTRALIA WIDE.

guys FYI if your after Power Vision I can hook you up pronto.
email me and mention your Forum ID at aussiesales101@gmail.com
i will look after you. cheers.

If u go on your own way then just also beware the older model that many dealers still getting rid of - some features lacking!
e.g the new version has a self tune feature. collects data from the bike (actual run time, conditions etc) and the bike can be remapped at the push of a button

sure your all aware but these units "marry" to YOUR bike so no multi-bike use etc, you can however see/diagnose and clean error codes on any bike.

Just got a new PV1 off ebay for $350. I happen to be looking at the right place at the right time.
For the first time I was lucky.

Took less than 5 mins to flash my ECM for improved standard, yet to test her out.

    Easy to use.

    Hi Superglide

. You are misleading people with this info. There is no difference between an "older model" and new one. Once you download the software it uploads the new Autotune software for you. Secondly you can buy a licence from Dyno vision that allows you to swap a P vision between two bikes. If you are selling these you should have a better understanding of your product
