Got my eye on tha new 2011 model softail convertible cvo.Was told by tha stealer that they would not be in tha country till feb 2011, asked about tuner, airkit,pipes etc. Got a ummmm not sure .

Anyone got a bit of info on this ?

Thanks Taff, dealer rang me today. Informed me bike is factory tuned, but doesnt come with an external race/super tuner.Also, i would need to buy air kit and pipes to get the bike performing at its peak.

Earliest delivery around late February.

Make sure you get yourself a tuner with your pipes! You probably are not going to be satisfied with the stock exhaust when you get it. Throw in a nice looking breather.

If you are getting a new CVO, a few extra $$$ won't break your bank....Good luck.

Steamer buddy,how they hangin? lol, was thinkin coz im a scozzy,alias a scottish aussie, i might get a tartan kilt wearin kangaroo custom paint job done. Need 2 find a sober aussie dude with a steady hand, are they around ????

well guys, i got my 2011 softail convertible 3 weeks ago now, and it is better than the pictures, unbelievably good machine, doesnt need anything , except pipes and sert, getting done tomorrow , ....... cant wait
value for money is ou=tstanding, with so many extras i have lost count, the great thing about a cvo is you dont have to take half the parts off to put new ones , so there fore you dont pay twice
i was very lucky to get the first that arrived in oz, saw one on the floor though last sat at harley heaven, buyer pulled out, probably gone now

bvetter  get in quick, according to harley davidson australia, we have been allocated 19 in total, and only seven red ones, i was very lucky , i got mine from harley city in brunswick , and they were allocated one only and i was lucky it was the red, harley heaven told me they were allocated three and were all gone

Thanks phantom, i can feel a trip down tha freeway to trivetts this week. Do you know if they are pretty good to deal with? This model i think is what ive been aiming for in a Harley, i like the street cruiser look as ive never been attracted to the touring models.With this you can have tha best of both,and if me and tha missus want to piss off on a long trip, its got the saddlebags and screen sissy bar etc.

Plus, a big 110 cube beast to play with.

I'm off to Trivetts this afternoon so hope the convert is still there for a look-see. Don't worry - I won't be buying. Still getting over the shock of going in there in July for a scarf and walking out with a 2005 CVO. Keen to see the new one though because of the ABS. I'll wait a couple of years then start looking for a used one. As scarce as, of course.
