Interference alarm system Melbourne CBD

Was out for a ride yesterday with a mate and we stopped at a pub in the city on the way home. We were parked on the footpath and when we went to leave, put the key in and ignition on and alarm gave us a warning and then started going off. On both bikes.

Only thing we could think of was some kind of interference, so we rolled the bikes onto the road and after about 10m both alarms stop going off and we can start the bikes again.

Should have seen the looks we were copping when we were rolling both bikes off the footpath and down the raod with the alarms going off. Funny shit.

U B Dead and i got the same thing happen in Brisbane one night, parked just down from the city police station, we thought it might have somthing to do with the police radio band, not sure but as we pushed the bikes away down the road things come good again.

Happened to me in Geelong at the Mercure Hotel-- dead zone due to phone towers or wires. Had to use the PIN number to get her moving. I hear there is a dead spot at the Hospital in Geelong as well.

If you know your pin and the process to activate it you don't have to push-- unless ya want some exercise anyway...
