I have a friend who works for Bombardier that I catch up with every couple of years at Avalon Airshow. Guessing she is around 5'5" and 55-60kg and rides a RK.... also know of some guys in Jakarta that ride tourers around the streets like they were sporties. Then again she did drop a Buell in roadworks on Great Ocean Road.

    You could do it.....

You can get the US dvd called Ride like a Pro by this guy Jerry Paladino which is pretty good at giving techniques for maneuvering bikes, especially the heavy suckers. A bit dry but pretty good. I've become a bit slack lately but I used to try to practice my figure of 8s regularly....

Here's some tips - more Palladino stuff:

I think most of the slow speed stuff gets down to slipping the clutch, using the back brake, leaning away from the turn, and looking where you want to go.

Some of it's a bit corny, but the basics are good. I'm pretty short (for a bloke), and I really need to practice this sort of stuff, particularly for when I've got my lovely wife on the back - the Road King plus me plus her are a handful if you've got short legs!
