Wots goin on!! Seems every bloke & his dogs fitting a ThunderMax to their EFI hogs, & their saying mighty  good things about em ! Im thinking of one myself , But some one tells me theres no space to put  it on an 06 streetbob, Can any one confirm this? Is it true?? surely one  can be fitted to a S-bob..?

That site says the XIED is for TC96 engines. Is it ok on a TC88 like Kickinon's ?

Won't go in a 08 Fatbob without movin things around Kickinon.I think it's a alarm module that's in the way.If your scoot ain't fitted with one you MAY be ok ?

ive got the alarm , ill take the seat off on the weekend , take a look, but l know from memory there isnt much space there, l also checked the pictures & price of the DYNOIED that suits the 06 , that would fit under the seat , it looks like its about 16mm-18mm in diameter at the most,& not very long, there wasnt a write up about it and since im not clued up on this stuff will need to talk to some one with one, to see what adjustments you can do to it allowing for change of pipes & wot not, IT is a whole bunch cheaper than others ive sighted!! ALL I WANT IS to change my mufflers to something like straight shots, install a K&N oiled air filter retaining the origonal cover, and be able to install an adjustable map to compensate for the changes made!! But l want to install all the mods my self, l dont want to go to a dyna tune, ive always done my own work...

    Hi Nige,

its all about what people want to do. You don't buy a bus when you want to ride a bike.

    regards

As I said nothing comes close to a Thundermax !!!!!! Most of the electronic aids that are on the market are piggyback add on's, the Thundermax is a ECU and a lot more advanced than other systems but still very easy to use!! Oh by the way I don't sell them or any other product like some of our forum members.

l started this thread 2 weeks back, l still havnt decided on which one to purchase yet,,, However! after all the read ups & opinions l have heard about first hand from people using the differant products out there, there is no dought the thundermax (at the moment) is the one most peoples are fitting or want to. reasons seme to be many the 3 good points are 1/fit it to any other bike you purchase later on. 2/ is an ECU not a piggy back..3/ fully adjustable.. theres thousnads of opinions out there, But right now l think the TMax is over priced, not as easy to tune in as made out , & dont just fit in the space required with out cutting on some HD models, The price of the fuel shot Gen111 is reasonable, and would certanly suit what im doing , running differant pipes & air cleaner, & at less than !/2 price of some others.... ill phone big joe chops when ive decided , but im leaning toward the gen 3 in my head , price & good over the phone service is a big plus....
