Just widend a fatboy tank and now the wires to the fuel pump dont reach,,anyone no where I can buy the plug that goes onto the fuel pump and the plug that goes to the inspection plate under the speedo without wires so I can fit longer wires to the new plugs,,,cheers

One would expect your local/nearest HD dealer parts guy would be able to help !

Been there tried that H D only sell the stock internal wiring loom I need 60mm longer but thanks anyway ,,cheers

That's Odd, they should sell replacement plugs.
Most of the HD plugs you can dismantle, and you can buy new pins to suit.
Sounds like a quick splice will sort you out. Just stagger the joins so you don't end up with a "fat" loom and use heatshrink
to insulate the joins.

Nope no replacement pins or complete plugs,,and as for heatshrink this is inside the tank,, as in in the fuel,,dont no if heatshrink is good for petrol resistance...the dealer cant even tell me the name of the plugs ,,as in make ,, tried all over oz but no luck so far,,cheers

OK that changes things. Didn't know you were talking about the internal fuel pump wiring. Most HD plugs are either Deutsch or AMP.

All of the plugs are listed in the back of the Service manual.

Ok,,, back again after a lot of searching ,, found that the wiring loom that is inside the fuel tank on an 08 fatboy is made by Delphi,,,I think they took over Lucas,, Having rang the states early this morning I found out you cant buy the plugs seperate from the actual harness,, or the pins that go into the plugs ,, rang every dealer in australia ,, no go,, even the factory cant supply just the plugs or pins....so ,, Get this ,, the fuel pump plug on the end of the harness is exactly the same as an early model Holden Rodeo , Delphi...Picked up a second hand one today thanks to a fuel injection place here in Adelaide today,, the plug on the other end is proving to be a lot harder to source ,, but may be able to make do with the old one when I cut and splice,, keep you posted ,,cheers
