Ive been trolli'n here for a while now while i'm sorting outmy first HD purchase.
Been riding for 13 years now but never a HD till i went to a test ride day at Sy's HD in Sydney.
I started on a Suzuki DR 250 then a Honda CB 400 then a Kawasaki GPX 650 and now am on a 2009 GSXR 750 which i'm trying to flog
so I can get on a sportie. Iv'e read heaps of encouraging stuff on here (specially from KC) about 883/1200 conversion and i'm trying to price up
my bike purchase and mod budget. M&M seem like the place to shop from the quotes i've gotten from them.
BUT....where should I look in Sydney for a good mechanic to fit my conversion kit?
Getting a quote for this part of the package is important for me to know how much to ask the bank for. lol.
And i've had bad experiances with stealerships in the past so i am avoiding that route unless the wise among you set me straight.

One of the first things will be reflectors off and prolly replace with black reflective tape. Safety minus the pink shirt.
I know that this has prolly been flogged to death but has anyone heard V&H comp 2-1's in real life?
They look quite smashing but I'm looking for the deepest rumble I can get.
A mate has V&H short shots so I have seen the quality of their workmanship, And his shorties have a nice low resonance.
But I don't like the reports of them blowing all your torque out the pipe like a fart out a loose arse.
So i guess I'm saying, has anyone heard both sets of pipes and can you compare the sound?
