    Hi fellas,

installing new exhaust today, but dont have any torque wrenches.

Any tips for tightening the flange nuts at the head. Will firm be enough? Dont want to snap anything.

    Cheers

Use a 1/4 ratchet. That way you can't put massive torque on the nuts.
The spec is around 60-80 in/lbs, so nice and firm, but don't strain. If it leaks, snug it up some more.
Make sure you use new gaskets, check and if needed retighten after a few rides.

    Cheers Speedzter,

just removing the stock exhaust as we speak and there is a cable attached to the exhaust where the header pipes meet the mufflers. Do you know what this is? I'm pretty sure its not going to attach to the new exhaust. Do i need this or just remove it completely.

    Thanks.

That's the exhaust valve actuator. Remove it, and trace it back to the servo motor and remove it from there as well.
Leave the servo as is, unless you have a way to bypass or deactivate it.

No error if he leaves the servo plugged in as I have said.
You will only get an error if the ECU fails to detect the Servo.

These Bassani's sound fucken awesome mate. I'll get some pics up soon. Took my time. took me most of the afternoon, but I'm wrapped. If it wasnt pissing down right now I'd be riding.

One thing i noticed is that when I used to click the run button, I used to get one continuos noise of the injection kicking in. Now i get two shorter ones with a little break in between. Is this normal

What your hearing is just the fuel pump building up line pressure.
If it starts and runs, your all good !

Quality of the pipes is very good. They've also got a real nice note. Just have to get used to how loud they are. A lot louder than the slip ons I had on. Getting a lot of popping on decel, but I'm installing aircleaner and TTS tomorrow, so hopefully that should take care of it. In the end, I'm very happy with these pipes
