It has probably been asked a million time but are the HD Premium Oil Cooler Kit for Softail® Models 26157-07 worth installing?
Thanks
Jason
Hey JSE, are you aware of BadAss's current promotion?
12% Off Sale Now through November 3rd, 2010 Take 12% off your entire order just enter coupon code Treat in the coupon code of your shopping cart.
I've had a few orders of small parts off them without any problem but I do recall some comments about poor service on larger orders though.
It seems to be a bit random though as I placed an order with another US based supplier that was recommended on the forum and a week later my order is still "in line to ship" with no explanation as to why it is delayed.

JSE I use the JAGG oil cooler - you may need the adapter as well I have a dyna fatbob and I had to have an adapter that fits behind the oild filter - the one that fits on the down tube personally I think its a better unit as its up and out of the way of stones and crap
click on one of the site sponsors above 'rolly speed shop' and you'll see the JAGG oil cooler and what you'll need to fit it to your model
mine dropped my temp by 20 F around town and 30 F on highways
and it costs just under $500 delivered with cooler and adapter and oil filter
Micki, No I wouldn't,, but I ride a 06 Sportster and live in Melbourne where it's not realy that hot ... If I had a Twin Cam I would as they Run Hot and need a Oil Cooler.
I sell two types , one is a Cooler that is Mounted on the Frame Down Tube, $165.00 or I also have the Perf-Form Cooler Kit, it's a Spin On Fitler that has Fins cut in to the Body, The ider is that the Fins help to Cool the Oil, It comes with 3 replacment Filters $256.00
gidday walker, excuse my ignorance , where are you ???.
