My name is Nathan, and I'm 23 years of old. I suppose what makes this an interesting introduction is that I live in America, for now. I'm signing up on these forums because I'm about to move to Brisbane this December (49 days from now to be exact) and figured I'd meet some local Harley riders and share my trip to Australia with you guys. 

I've been riding Harleys since I was 17, I got my motorcycle endorsement on my license just a few months after getting my driver's license, so I've been on two wheels since being on four. I decided about almost a year ago that since I didn't have any plans for when I graduate college, and nothing keeping me anywhere, I could move anywhere in the world. I figured why not move somewhere where it doesn't get too cold and I could ride a Harley all the time -- So I chose Brisbane.

This whole thing started as a silly pipe dream about how awesome it would be to move to the other side of the world and ship an old Harley there.... and now I'm actually doing it. I have a '76 Ironhead Sportster XLH (picture included) which I'm getting to ready to ride from my home in southeast Kansas (right in the center of the country) all the way across the western US, to Northern California and down the Pacific Coast Highway to LA. 3100 miles in total and I've included the route picture as well.

I'll create a thread about the crazy trip to get me and this bike to Australia.... just wanted to introduce myself first.
