Have an 08 FXDC. De baffled standard pipes Hi Flo ST1 efi kit (harley) and download efi (part no 29406--08) Confused? Now want to fit vance and hines straight shots. One shop said yes great chuck them on alls well. Its a broad range download which will change to suit backpressure of different mufflers when riding.Another dealer said Oh no must re tune with power commander and have dyno which we are agents for by the way the bill will be about a grand all up give or take. Am i going to be ripped off? Or should I dyno and pc 111 to save potential motoer damage ie valves rings piston etc. Will I get any more grunt with pc. Want the slip ons for the meaty sound. Any advice out there or anyone done same.

No power commander installed yet. Have screaming eagle download and standard de baffled pipes.Putting on v+h straightshot slipons and going to have pc3 installed and dynoed.If im not going to get much more grunt will stay as I am.

Well folks put the slip on on. Had the power commander put in and got dyno tined.Results 75.50 max hp. 89.62 torque.  The rev limit has been pushed out to 6200. Did a 200 klm ride yesterday and pleased wit5h the result. Not quite as crisp on the throttle as it was but definetly more boogey all round. Are these results good? Got a big ride next weekend so will see how it stacks up with the pack.Cheers yelladawg.
