Tiny here, Ex Z owner and just moving from sports to cruiser, History (ones I've owned)? GSX 250,Triumph TR6R ,BMW 1000RS,76 Z1000,81 Z1000J,2010 FXDF. Lotsamiles ralleys bourbons etc good woman (did I just say that)2 sprogs mortgage Melb, Just bought Fatbob Love the site.Got heaps of questions spent months here pre purchase and often find myself re-reading things with different eyes post purchase (and sometimes a bit of serious dejavu-liver damage cracked eyeballs and all) .So here goes-

1. I f***** hate the sound of my standard harley pipes. I understand why,it just shits me.

2. I f***** love the feel,handling,looks style,brakes

3. Can't find shit about electronically controlled silence dampening exhausts. Know Kess exists, can't find any feedback (that isn't dealer generated) Live in really quiet street got incredibly f***** neighbours and I leave 4 work at sparras 6 days a week. Anyone know if the efi can be /has to be  double mapped (my term) for both quiet and loud? Is SE Race tuner the best option?

4. Another thing  I want to know how is how much play I'll find in the electrical cables from the standard bars into the loom. I want to lift the bars up and back just changing risers and l'd like to know how far l've got available (understanding all bikes vary but this is standard  issue)

5. Anyone got ideas/ plans for turntable for bike?

Hey Mick - Good choice of ride Mate, get a set of 2 into one pipes - TTS Tuner - and a Breather kit for a start, might have to get 2 sets of Boxing Gloves as well.

Gidday to all thanks for the welcome.I agree Z's kick ass. Nearly too much (speaking from sorry motherfucker experience) which is why I'm stepping off onto what is meant to be a cruiser (pity about that!). I've looked at a few 2 into ones but am actually toying with putting duallys on. I've always liked that FLH/Dresser look but wanted better handling brakes etc so need to suss out how that can work. Any thoughts boys?
Same goes with TTS- need to research more.
As for the fuckin neighbors Part of me wants to wake every fucker in the street up and the other part needs to play the game. sprogs,life etc. It aint really gonna be a harley for me until l at least get some thunder.
Anyone found that FXDF parts are a bit light on the ground?
