Hi all

Having touble with my starter motor now it is failing to engage the drive when the button is pushed.  Have checked the battery and tried a starter battery from my mates tractor (John Deer) but to no availe, also checked leads and earth contacts.

It has probably given up the ghost because of the 103 kit.

Are there any aftermarket or bigger Kw starter motors out there for these bikes?

Before you buy a new starter it could be a number of things clutch, or contacts,isolate each one check if you are getting power to the starter when the button is pressed,with a test light and yes it will handle a 103.

Getting the starter motor rebuilt under warranty.  Might get one of these for next time it shits it self.
