Well, shocks sorted and I can now tell the difference. Takes a bit of playing with to get the right settings but makes a helluva difference. Only problem is that now I notice how shit the standard front springs are !

As for the tuner, according to the dealer it shouldnt affect the temp. Maybe it was just a cool day or something and I will be able to tell more over the summer. I do notice the idle speed being a fair bit quicker after starting, although once warmed up it does settle down. Anyone else notice that? Dealer also says fuel economy should improve, but still to test that one out. However, with all that extra grunt and the temptation that comes with it I get a feeling it could be quite the opposite.

Hey Blackadder I found exactly the same once i fitted the new Ikons on the rear. I have upgraded the front fork springs with Ikon, replaced the fork oil with Motul HD 20W plus dropped the front by 5mm. The bike feels so much better now and it turns into the corner instead of under steering. I cannot understand how HD can sell them the way they are. Very ordinary.
