I posted this in another thread where a bloke moaned about 'shit wet weather gear'; but it occured to me this info should be out there for anyone who's looking for Aussie made bike gear.

And for disclosure purposes I'll add I've no connection whatsoever to this mob - I'm just a happy customer who's keen on supporting OZ products:

If you're looking for Aussie made wet weather gear there's a mob here in Brisbane called 'The Australian Coat Company'; their gear is 'Driza Bone' style.

First saw it in the old 'Ned Kelly's' at Canungra  - the biker friendly Retailer well known to many on the forum (where's he gorn?).

Anyhoos, I have the jacket & over pants & the U beaut sheepskin vest - all good quality stuff at a fair price and hand made in their small factory just off Moss St in Springwood.

That's where I went to order & collect it so I saw the stuff being made here in OZ!

If you're interested scroll through for the bike stuff on their site at www.theaussiecoat.com.au

My bike is American but I try reeal hard to support OZ industry in everything else...
