Has anyone had the hinged weather cap replaced... and how do you do it... bloody thing wont close anymore.

Looks like the little internal nipple is loose, and there is a clip in the slot from the top... is there an easier way to fix this... 

Don't really want to replace the whole switch if I can avoid it...

Surely you gest... around 50 bucks for a completely new switch... didn't ask about the labour.. and I'II stop calling you surely!

A bit of blue tac under the cap will stop it rattling around. It works on my shovel anyway
