G'day - was wandering about the EZ-R conversion for the rocker. Looks great, but I'm confused about how it can be comfortable?! since the rocker swing arm and fender are the moving parts, surely the roder's seat, but moreso the pillion seat must then be sitting on the moving part, no longer the frame as standard. Does this mean that the pillion jumps up and down with every bump, and the rider's seat's back rest also does this?
thanks for anyone who can enlighten me - maybe I'm missing something?
With the Heartland kit it changes the suspension/seat setup to a conventional Softail. The fender is NOT attached to the swingarm..it is attached to the struts. Therefore the passenger seat does not move with the swingarm. There is actually 3.5 inches of travel so plenty of room for the swingarm to move without touching the fender! Might have seen them with air ride suspension all the way down so i can be a little deceptive.
I hope that answers the question.
I noticed that Heartland makes a 280 kit for the Rocker as well.
